The use of e-collars, and, prong or pinch collars, clearly falls outside of the objectives of the Association. The use of such equipment for the purpose of dog training is at the very least questionable, in some cases possibly considered a breach of animal welfare under the Animal Welfare Act 2006, and for our membership living in Wales illegal (The Animal Welfare (Electronic Collars) (Wales) Regulations 2010).read more

Following questions regarding the improper use of the BPSCA logo(s), the Association is currently reviewing its position regarding current and future use by Members. It has become apparent that the logo is being displayed inappropriately by individuals, dog training providers, and security companies who may not be permitted to use the logo.read more
The BPSCA has recently received enquiries about the ‘Member Login’ area from the membership, please note that this facility is not active and does not currently allow members to login. The facility was built into the new website so that the BPSCA can provide members with special access to member only areas, forums, and discussions. Members will be notified should the facility be activated.
