The dog is expected to work at a distance and locate a number of small items before alerting the handler, or recovering the items to the handler.

السوق الكويتي للاسهم The man-work comprises a pursuit and apprehension of a criminal fleeing, whilst armed. The criminal will open fire upon the dog during the pursuit and the dog is expected to press home the attack, detaining him until the arrival of the handler.

Aggression is extremely dangerous without a high level of control and this test is designed to show the controlled aggression of the dog and the control of the handler at a considerable distance from his dog.

It is one thing for a dog to chase and apprehend a criminal who is trying to escape, it is another for the dog to protect the handler in the face of a determined, head-on attack by an armed criminal and this test demonstrates the dog’s bravery under pressure.
